Rachelle joined Holliday’s Helping Hands as the Director of Training in 2020 overseeing the professional development of its staff and clients through customized training programs aimed at equipping and raising skill sets in a practical, and sustainable manner.

Tapping into her extensive background in education from her time as a Principal, Assistant principal, and science teacher in South Los Angeles, Rachelle employs motivational techniques, in introducing the latest trends in work/life skills to HHH staff and clients while setting benchmarks to capture data and track progress.

Additionally, Rachelle directs the Shine Ambassador Worksource Program (SAWS), which works to improve the quality and workforce relevance of clients and to inform, educate, and inspire them to reach their professional goals. Sensitive to the reality that each client starts with different challenges, patterns of coping and learning, Rachelle infuses confidence building blocks throughout her training with a fierce determination that each client successfully completes the program.

Rachelle graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology (Pre-Med) from Spelman College in Atlanta, GA. She received her Professional Teaching Credential from California State University at Dominquez Hills and earned both an Administrative Credential and Masters of Science degree in Educational Administration from National University. Rachelle is also a member of the Illustrious Sisterhood of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and currently serves as the California State Chaplain for the Farwest Region.

A national community advocate and engaging public speaker, Rachelle is in demand for as a guest speaker and emcee at numerous events.
 

What is the most important part of your day?

“Being able to inspire [and] motivate our clients and team by giving them the knowledge and resources to excel; I am blessed to be in a position which empowers me to advocate for our clients and help our team collectively work in aligning ourselves behind the HHH mission.”
