Cagney has a key role as the Director of Nutrition and Wellness at Holliday’s Catering Services, LLC. She joined HHH in 2021. Her primary focus is on achieving and maintaining operational excellence including the development and evaluation of nutritional programs, food service staff training, support and management, compliance, and ensuring that standards and state regulations are met.
With attention to detail and an eye for efficiency, Cagney works in partnership with corporate team members (wellness, culinary, technology, etc.) to provide HHH clients with delicious and nutritional meals. She also oversees and directs the financial aspects including procurement, production, and delivery of food. Finally, Cagney is responsible for scheduling the maintenance, repair, and replacement of production equipment to ensure smooth working operations.
Prior to joining Holliday’s Catering Services, Cagney was employed as a Child Nutrition Supervisor for Jackson Public School District where she developed menus and implemented several policies and procedures. Cagney collaborated with vendors, supervised nineteen child nutrition managers, and ensured efficient and effective food production and distribution.
Cagney earned a degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from Alcorn State University and a Master’s in Public Health from Jackson State University. She is currently pursuing her Doctor of Public Health Degree with a concentration in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from Jackson State University. Cagney also practices as a Registered Dietitian in several capacities.
